The PUDU, or Pudu Pudu as he is really called, is the smallest deer in the world. He is only found here in Patagonia. Because of his size (he only comes up to our shin-height when fully grown and weight just 9kgs), and his lack of defense mechanisms, he feels threatened by most things, and is, some say, becoming endangered.

In short, he is small on the outside, but has a big gentle heart on the inside. And he wants to feel safe.
